In the present year, MICK BARR went back to the year 12/12/1912 in his self produced TIME MACHIINE and presented to the people of the past his LAUNCH PAD of TALIBAM!'s Puff UP THE VOLUME.

PUFF UP THE VOLUME was Mick Barr's favorite album of 2012. He waned to share his gorgeous manipulation of this album with metal, rap and rock music fans from a different era..... The people of 12/12/1912 loved his album so much, they elected Mick Barr; King of the World, and PUFF UP The VOLUME was declared the greatest album of all eternity!!!!

The "Launch Pad" series was created by Talibam! to explore new sound relationships in the digital world. Using recent album releases by contemporary artists as the launching pad, Talibam! feels inspired to paint and mold the music into a new species, blurring the lines between inconspicuous and conspicuous consumption/appropriation.

Launch Pad #7 features Talibam!;s own PUFF UP THE VOLUME as the catalyst. More Launch Pads to follow.

I can't really find any words to do this work justice. The amount of detail and work that has gone into these pieces is staggering, every 2 seconds feel like 10 because they're so filled with music you'll likely miss most of it the first few listens. These are the same songs as featured on the albums Annwn 1 & 2 except these are solo guitar instead of multiple guitars. And they sound different. I can't recommend this enough, but buy the other versions first. This one is tougher to get through. ChickenHeadedRaccoonGirl
